Nourishing the heart & soul with Greens & Gratitude

I have spent most of my adult years learning how to love myself, faults and all. I have made the most out of life circumstances, distractions & demands.

It’s easy to forget the importance of self love & mindful living.

So, Why? “Greens & Gratitude” it serves as a reminder that nurturing our bodies with wholesome foods, like fresh greens can profoundly impact our emotional and spiritual well-being. It’s more than just a “diet” it’s about making mindful decisions that honour our bodies & hearts. The HEART CHAKRA in the Yoga World is the colour GREEN, and the HEART is the foundation of The Balancing Way. The heart is a powerful energy that balances out our thoughts and gut insticts. Our heart will help guide us to make decisions that align with our true selves. IF we make choices to eat more greens and nourish our hearts.

Gratitude didn’t always come easy to me, I felt the victim role for a very long time. “why me” attitude was real. Through my Yoga practice, Walking & Journaling my perspective shifted, I started to learn when I felt “STUCK” or overwhelmed these practices inspired me to find all that I am grateful for and my heart started to forgive so i could learn from life and choose better, healthier thoughts, that led to mindful eating.

Why Yoga? Connecting your breath with movement, we create space to reflect on our thoughts & feelings. Each pose invites you to tune into your body helping you culitvate what you truly need.

Why Walking? Nature has a unique way of grounding us. A simple walk outdoors, allows us to breathe deeply, observe the beauty around us, and re connect with our inner selves.

Why Journaling? Putting pen to paper is powerful for self reflection. Journaling help s process emotions, express gratitude, celebrate our wins, release thoughts, feelings, paving the way for growth & self reflection.

When I aligned my thoughts, feelings and actions with gratitude, I created a harmonious balance in my life. I learnt that my heart is guiding me and I work hard to trust it & nourish it.

From “Greens & Gratitude” is not just a concept; it’s a way of life. By embracing the synergy between nutrition, yoga, journaling & walking, we can foster a deeper sense of well-being. Let us Commit to making mindful decisions that honor our body & hearts, ultimately leading us to a place of gratitude.
